What it is
The Physio screen logs physiotherapy sessions — rehabilitation and preventive treatments — with their modalities, body zones, pain and player status, and lets the physio send a training adaptation to the coaching staff for the next session.
When you use it
After working with an injured or at-risk player: record the session, and, when the training needs to be modified, attach an adaptation so it reaches the daily plan. It's also where you review a player's treatment history and clear a player when their injuries resolve.
How it works
Register a treatment. The form captures the player, date/time and duration, and the treatment type — Rehabilitation (linked to one of the player's active injuries) or Preventive (with a reason: player request, physical-trainer indication, prevention protocol, or maintenance/recovery). You mark the body zones on a chart, pick modalities (manual therapy, exercise, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, massage, taping, needling, other), record pain before and after (0–10) and the player status (improving, stable, worsening), and add clinical notes.
Send a training adaptation. Tick Notify coaches and write the adaptation (e.g. what to modify next session). On save, this notifies the coaching staff and posts to the club chat, and the adaptation appears in the coaches' plan (see Key concepts).
Review and manage. The history panel lists treatments with filters (all / rehab / preventive / adaptations). A Patient history view shows a player's sessions grouped by injury with a pain trend, and a Protocols library lets you apply a template into the form. You can edit, duplicate or delete a treatment, export the week, and Clear a player (which marks their active injuries cleared).
Key concepts
What a training adaptation is. An adaptation is a physio's instruction to modify the next training for a player (for example, a restriction or a load reduction). Technically it's a treatment saved with Notify coaches on and adaptation notes filled in: that raises a notification to the coaching staff and surfaces the adaptation on the physio adaptations card in Daily Planning (and the individual-adaptations block in the Gym Planner), so the day's session respects it. The app records when the adaptation was sent and, separately, when a coach marks it applied in Daily Planning.
Rehab vs preventive. A rehab treatment attaches to an active injury and tracks its recovery; a preventive treatment is risk-reduction with no injury link. Both are logged the same way.
Who can see it. Physio treatments are scoped by team, not restricted to medical roles at the database level — which is precisely why an adaptation can reach a (non-medical) coach's plan. This is different from the deep clinical file (medical history, medications, documents), which is medical-only — see Clinical Record.
FAQ
How does an adaptation reach the coach? Save the treatment with Notify coaches on and adaptation notes filled in. The staff get a notification and the adaptation shows on the Daily Planning physio-adaptations card.
What's the difference between a rehab and a preventive treatment? Rehab links to an active injury and tracks its recovery; preventive is risk-reduction with no injury attached and carries a reason instead.
What does clearing a player do here? It marks the player's active injuries as cleared (with today's return date) and notifies the staff — the same clearance concept as on the Injuries page.
